10 GREAT THINGS ABOUT GUPPIES
1. They breed like crazy. 10-100 babies can be born every 28 days by the same

mother. And babies born can start breeding 6-8 weeks of age.

2. Easy to care for. They love many kinds of food and they like their water kept

clean.

3. Guppies are peaceful. Even though they may eat their own young, guppies don't

bother other fish. They can be kept with any fish that won't eat them or nip at

their fins.

4. Colorful. Yellow, red, blue. Guppies can be almost any color and pattern.

This is done through selective breeding.

5. Small. Guppies can fit comfortably in small tanks which means the owner needs

less space to keep them.

6. Tail shapes. Guppies can be bred to have different shapes and sizes of tails.

7. Friendly. Guppies are really happy to see their owners at feeding time.

8. Playful and Frisky. Males love to chase the females. It is a good idea to

have more females so some can take a break.

9. Water Temperature. I have kept guppies at 68 degrees and 80 degrees. They

do fine in both. They breed more in the warmer temperatures.

10. Guppies are not expensive. Everyone can breed guppies so easy that they are

cheap to buy.

About Me

I have been working in accounting and purchasing for 12 years. I really enjoy helping businesses get the most out of their money. I am able to research other companies to find out where I can get the best prices for goods and services. I am able to serve companies all over the United States and Spanish speaking countries.

Other interests I have are aquariums. I have 5 fish tanks with guppies, Jack Dempseys, tetras, sword tails, tinfoil barbs, plecos, cory catfish, silver dollars, rasboras, a beta, a platy. They aren't all in the same tank. I am trying to develop my own strain of guppy. And I'd like to breed the cory catfish. I'll probably get a couple more tanks. One for salt water and a bigger tank for the big fish.
